Danny Hensley started the High Intensity Fast Pitch program in 1999. The program accomplishments include:

- 3 State Championships
- 3 National Championships
- Every player that has graduated through the program has
  been offered a softball scholarship.

Coach Danny was a three sport letterman in high school.

- MVP for both the football and baseball teams
- Signed scholarships in both football and baseball

Coach Danny elected to go with the baseball scholarship

- Attended Jackson State Community College
- Catcher and Pitcher
- Set conference record with 5 consecutive home runs
- Selected West Tennessee Player of the Year

Signed Junior year with the University of Tennessee Martin

- Led team in batting average, home runs and RBIs
- 1st Team All Conference
- Selected team Most Valuable Player

Coach Danny played major division softball for several years after college

- Played on two National Championship teams
- Selected to the All-American Team twice
